It’s all perfectly imperfect

When we are not at our best, it can feel like our minds are cloudy. It can be so hard to think clearly as the thoughts keep swirling.

We’re so used to straining towards ‘something else’ that we don’t see what is right here.

Don’t miss out on the life right in front of us as we look towards a better future! Sometimes we are too busy getting something or somewhere that we forget.

This photo, perfectly imperfect – this is how it is. I’d much prefer less of the houses and the window, much more of nature and sky. I am like that with so much of life. But this is what I’ve got.

The power of seeing things clearly, just as they are. A heartfelt “This is how it is right now. And it’s good enough.” Releasing unnecessary straining, tension, resistance and striving, freeing up time and energy for so much else!

Mindfulness comes from the Pali word ‘sati’ which has a connotation of remembering. Do we remember where we are right now? Do we remember what’s important? Do we remember how much is ok in this moment? Do we remember that we are, as life is, perfectly imperfect?
